Leadwire and Cable Seal with Split Grommet
Improved oil seal prevents leaks and simplifies installation
Minco's new FG3015 oil seal offers a convenient way to keep oil from wicking along wires where they exit machine housings. The compression seal conforms tightly to the cable jacket and keeps oil inside the machine to 50 psi. Unlike feedthroughs or glass to metal seals you can remove or adjust the seal position in seconds. The new split grommet feature lets you install the seal without threading the cable or wires through the grommet.
The heavy-duty body is all stainless steel for reliability and long life. Models are available for single cables or up to six individual wires, with diameters of 0.05 to 0.23 inch (1.3 to 5.6 mm). The FG3015 is rated to 150°C and is ideal for sealing wires on temperature and vibration sensors, control system wiring, and small diameter probes on motors, generators, turbines and compressors.

It is the next generation in temperature monitoring equipment from Minco designed to meet the needs of electric machinery protection. The 12-channel scanning capability, standard RS485/RS232 interface and Windows-compatible software utility for system configuration and data logging provide overtemperature and undertemperature protection and critical feedback to safeguard expensive machinery.
A Thermal-TabTM RTD consists of a highly stable platinum or nickel resistance temperature detector (RTD) packaged in a low-cost flat body. The sensor is completely insulated and has rugged Teflon insulated leadwires in a standard length of 40 inches (1 meter).
Minco's family of Thermal-Tabs now includes models for higher temperature (260ºC/500ºF), fluid immersion, easy bolt-on mounting, and high sensitivity using 10,000 ohm platinum elements. In addition to platinum, most models are available with nickel curves to U.S. or DIN standards.
